The second phase of the Inception Workshop unfolded on September 27, 2023, bringing together 86 stakeholder representatives for an immersive half-day session. This physical gathering marked the importance offostering active engagement and dialogue.
Organized into round tables, the workshop facilitated discussions on critical topics, creating a synergy among participants. The round table sessions delved into various key themes including; Climate Change Projections and Vulnerability and Risk Assessment, Local Climate Change Action Plans (LCCAPs), Information Systems and Online Decision Support Tools, Capacity Building and Awareness-Raising Initiatives, and Technical Assistance through the Climate Change Grant Program.
The momentum and stakeholder engagement gained during the workshops laid the groundwork for continued collaboration and effective implementation of project activities in the subsequent phases of the project.
