Within the scope of the EU-Türkiye Climate Change Grant Programme, 12 informative sessions organized to provide information to potential applicants on application conditions, eligibility criteria and financing opportunities have been completed with great interest.
Starting on 4 November 2024 with the first informative session in Ankara, the series of events continued with in-person sessions in İzmir, Erzurum, İstanbul and Antalya, as well as online sessions throughout November. During these sessions, participants received detailed information about the programme’s objectives and application processes.

During the sessions, Dr. Ömer ÖZTÜRK, Merve GÜREŞ and Furkan KESKİN from the Directorate of Climate Change made presentations on the general framework of the grant programme. Grant experts Barış UYSAL and H. Uğur DAĞ from UNDP Türkiye provided comprehensive information on the application process. The sessions attracted broad participation from municipalities, local authorities, universities, development agencies, NGOs and non-profit unions/cooperatives.
